One month after his former manager sued him for sexual assault, country artist Jimmie Allen was fired by his label.
BBR Music Group told Fox News Digital, “BBR Music Group has dissolved its relationship with Jimmie Allen, he is no longer an active artist on its roster.”
His former day-to-day manager is suing Allen for sexually assaulting her for a year and a half. Allen, who called the claims “deeply troubling,” said the relationship was consensual.
“Don’t You Wanna Know” singer “manipulated and used his power over Plaintiff’s job to sexually harass and abuse her,” according to court records acquired by Fox News Digital.
His former manager is suing Allen for sexual assault.
at sexually harassing Jane Doe for over a year, Allen reportedly raped her at a dinner they attended after a “American Idol” show in March 2021, according to the filings.
The records state that Allen grabbed her breasts and bottom, placed his hands down her trousers in public, raped her while strangling her, and videotaped encounters without her consent.
Allen told Fox News Digital through his lawyer, “It is deeply troubling and hurtful that someone I counted as one of my closest friends, colleagues and confidants would make allegations that have no truth to them whatsoever.”
I admit to an almost two-year sexual connection. She never accused me of anything and said she wanted our friendship to last forever.”
“Only after things ended between us, did she hire a lawyer to reach out and ask for money, which leads me to question her motives,” the statement added. Her claims are inaccurate and hurtful. I’ve worked hard to create my career, and I’ll fight her accusations and take further legal measures to safeguard my reputation.”
Allen has a son, Aadyn, 8.
In April, Allen revealed he and Alexis Gale were splitting and expecting their third child. Naomi, 3, and Zara, 1, are their children.
Last month, the musician apologized to Gale and his children on Instagram: “I want to openly apologize to my wife Alexis for humiliating her with my infidelity. I’m ashamed my decisions shamed her. She didn’t deserve that.”
I apologize to my children for being a bad parent and guy. I’m improving to make my kids proud. “I want to be better than my generation,” Allen wrote.
