On Thursday, June 15, award-winning vocalist, instrumentalist, and composer Curtis Salgado will play at The Music Room in West Yarmouth with his band. The most recent album released by Ms. Salgado is titled “Damage Control,” and it is being regarded as the greatest of his lengthy career.
The album, which was produced by Mr. Salgado, is loaded with songs that are introspective, street-savvy, richly detailed, and immediately memorable.
Mr. Salgado is a one-of-a-kind performer with music that is just as engaging as his narrative. His career has spanned more than three decades, and he has won the Blues Music Award for Soul Blues Male Artist of the Year seven times.
He is a genuine musical giant since he has done everything from co-fronting The Robert Cray Band to heading his own band and producing nine solo albums to assisting in the transformation of John Belushi into “Joliet” Jake Blues to touring the country with Steve Miller and Santana. His resume reads like a who’s who of the music industry.
