The tenth installment of the “Fast & Furious” franchise will have a special cameo by actor Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow Rain Walker. On Instagram, Meadow posted a screenshot of her performance in “Fast X” and expressed her pride at having received a role in the well-known action/adventure series.
”When I was a year old, the first ‘Fast’ came out! My father, Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, [Ludacris], and other celebrities were broadcast on the monitors as I was growing up on the set. I came from the ‘Fast’ family, thanks to my father.
In “Fast X,” Meadow Walker, Paul Walker’s daughter, will have a small role.
I can’t believe I’ll soon join them up there. With those who have been there to see my development,” she wrote on Thursday evening.
Louis Leterrier, the film’s director, was also thanked by Meadow for his “kindness, patience, and support.” I feel really fortunate to be able to preserve my father’s heritage and share this with him for all time. I really do adore you all, she continued.
In 2013, Paul Walker passed away at the age of 40. In the film “Furious 7,” the actor made his final appearance in the franchise. His two brothers, Caleb and Cody, filled in for him to finish the remaining unfilmed parts, and their appearances were digitally altered to resemble the actor’s.
On May 19, “Fast X” is expected to be launched. Diesel, Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Sung Kang, along with newcomers Jason Momoa, Brie Larson, and Rita Moreno—who plays Diesel’s on-screen grandmother—return for the most recent episode.
