Raquel Leviss intends to discuss her side of the Tom Sandoval scandal upon her return from a rehabilitation center.
After it was revealed that she had a months-long affair with Tom, the 28-year-old actress decided to enter the facility, and Raquel intends to discuss their controversial relationship in the future weeks.
A source told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “She is a young woman who has repeatedly expressed regret for her actions and apologized. In the hopes of making better decisions and becoming a better person, her treatment is assisting her in understanding the reasoning behind her decisions and learning from her errors.
Raquel is eager to tell the public her side of the story.
The source added, “Raquel looks forward to sharing her story with the unfiltered truth when she comes out.”
Tom and Ariana Madix separated after the affair became public knowledge. Raquel subsequently issued a public apology via social media.
She wrote on Instagram at the time, “I want to apologize to Ariana, my friends, and the fans who are so invested in our relationships for my actions and decisions.” There is no justification, I am not a victim, and I am responsible for my actions; I profoundly regret injuring Ariana.”
Raquel also promised to consider her errors.
She stated, “I am contemplating my decisions, consulting with a therapist, and learning things about myself, such as my codependency patterns and addiction to being and feeling adored.
I have sought emotional validation through unhealthy intimate relationships without regard for my own well-being, sometimes to the detriment of others and frequently at the expense of my alliances. I’m making an effort to comprehend my behavior and make healthier decisions.”
