Adipurush, a film directed by Om Raut, is scrutinized for multiple reasons. The mythological film starring Kriti Sanon, Prabhas, Devdatta Nage, and Saif Ali Khan is receiving significant backlash on social media for its’shoddy’ VFX and ‘cheap dialogues.’ Kriti Sanon posted a cryptic Instagram message on Monday, amidst the ongoing negativity surrounding the film Adipurush.
The actress who portrayed Janaki in the film posted a series of videos with the caption “Focusing on the applause and cheers!” Jai Siya Ram.” In the videos, packed theaters can be seen, and the audience cannot stop applauding and cheering for Kriti.
Adipurush, a film based on the Ramayana epic, has become one of the most-talked-about films of the year, in part because it is reportedly the most costly Indian film ever produced, with a budget of Rs. 600 crore. Kriti Sanon portrays Janaki, Prabhas portrays Raghava, Devadatta Nage portrays Bajrang, and Saif Ali Khan portrays Lankesh.
Adipurush debuted in theaters on June 16 and has been involved in several controversies.

After director Om Raut requested theater proprietors to reserve a seat for Lord Hanuman in every theater, the film remained in the public eye.
In addition to film enthusiasts, veteran actor Arun Govil, who portrayed Lord Rama in Ramsagar’s television adaptation of the Ramayana for Doordarshan, also criticized the dialogues. Mukesh Khanna, also known as Shaktimaan, criticized the Adipurush team for ‘distorting’ history. Nonetheless, despite the ongoing backlash, Adipurush was able to earn Rs. 340 crore globally as of Monday.
