Sylvester Stallone may be a Hollywood icon, but he and his wife Jennifer Flavin are now participating in reality television. The couple has been married for 26 years, but after an affair with a renowned model, they almost never made it to the altar.
Hulu has The Kardashians, but Paramount Plus has chosen the Stallones for their most recent reality series. Indeed, Sylvester Stallone.
Family Stallone promises to reveal a side of Sylvester that the public has never seen: the family man. The film icon is known for portraying strong characters in Rocky and Rambo, but the reality show promises to reveal a side of Sylvester that the public has never seen: the family man.
His companions include his wife, the model Jennifer Flavin, and their three daughters, Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet. Flavin and Stallone met in 1988 and wed in 1997, but they momentarily separated because the actor believed he had a child with another prominent model.
Sylvester Stallone left wife Jennifer Flavin via ‘sloppy letter’
Jennifer Flavin, born in Los Angeles on August 14, 1968, is a former model who was signed by Elite Modeling Agency.
Sylvester was 42 years old when she met her spouse in a Beverly Hills restaurant when she was 20 years old. At the time, the latter had been married twice and had two sons with his first wife, Sasha Czack: Sage and Seargeoh.
The couple dated for five and a half years until March 1994, when Sylvester broke up with Jennifer via FedEx letter. Flavin recalled the note as a “pretty sloppy six-page handwritten letter” in which the cause for the separation was never specified.
She learned the reason from her Elite agent days after receiving the letter: Stallone was having an affair with Janice Dickinson, the 80s runway diva. She is best known for her roles as a judge on America’s Next Top Model and a contestant on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
In February 1994, Janice gave birth to her daughter, Savannah Rodin, and it was widely believed that she was carrying Sylvester’s child.
The actor from the film Creed became engaged to Dickinson, but the engagement was broken off after paternity tests revealed that he was not the father. Michael Birnbaum, a film producer, was the parent.
Before reconciling with Jennifer, Sylvester began dating model Angie Everhart. They tied the knot in May 1997.
Jennifer Flavin and Sylvester Stallone almost separated.
The Family Stallone, a Paramount Plus film, portrays them as a close-knit family, but in August of 2022, Sylvester and Jennifer virtually called it quits. Flavin, 54, filed a petition for dissolution of marriage because their 25-year marriage was “irretrievably broken”, according to court documents obtained by Palm Beach Post.
A month later, the divorce proceedings were suspended, and Stallone now prioritizes his family over his career.
Who were his former wives?
Actress and film director Sasha Czack was Stallone’s first wife. Czack, who was born on July 17, 1950, directed the 1996 film Long Lost Love and appeared in supporting roles. Their two children, Sage and Seargeoh, were born in 1976 and 1979, respectively.
The latter was diagnosed with autism at the age of three. In 2012, Sage passed away due to cardiac disease. His age was 36.
In December 1985, Sylvester married the model and actress Brigitte Nielsen. Even though they were only married for two years, the divorce was widely reported. Nielsen co-starred with her spouse in the films Rocky IV and Cobra.
The Family Stallone will be available for streaming on Paramount Plus beginning on May 17.
